We all need to be encouraged in our Christian Journey. As a matter of fact one of our Enemy's number one weapons in his arsenal is the Spirit of Discouragement! The Bible tells us that: "David Encouraged himself in the Lord!" We hope that you may find the Words written below as a great source of Inspiration and Encouragement!

This picture and poem is one of my favorites! Its called: "Don't Quit" It reminds me to keep fighting, to be strong, and it will be worth it. Oh how many blessings I would have missed out on if I had QUIT when I first got discouraged or a trial or tempatation go real hard. But by God's Grace He has helped us from day to day, one day at a time. So if you ever feel discouraged, look at this picture and read the poem, I can all but guarantee that those feelings will take the wings of the morning! I Refuse to Be Discouraged
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage.." Joshua 1:9
Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be down-hearted, And here's the reason why:
I have a God who is mighty- Who's sovereign and supreme;
I have a God Who loves me, And I am on His team.
He is all-wise and powerful- Jehovah is His name;
Though everything is changeable, My God remains the Same.
My God knows all that's happening-- Beginning to the End;
His presence is my Comfort; He is my Dearest Friend.
When sickness comes to weaken me-- To bring my head down low,
I call upon my mighty God; Into His arms I go.
When circumstances threaten to Rob me of my peace,
He draws me close unto His breast, Where all my strivings cease.
When my heart melts within me, And weakness takes control,
He gathers me into His arms, He soothes my heart and soul.
The Great "I AM" is with me; My life is in His hand;
The "God of Jacob" is my hope; It's in His strength I stand.
I Refuse to be defeated; My eyes are on my God;
H has promised to be with me as through this life I trod.
I'm looking past all circumstance; To Heaven's throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of God and I'm resting in His love.
I give thanks in everything; My eyes are on his face;
The Battle's His, the victory's mine; He'll help me win the race!

HE GIVETH MORE GRACE
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His Mercy
To multiplied trials, His multiplied Peace.
His love has no limit; His grace has no measure;

For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
